Because he never conformed. Michael Jackson was always smashing boundaries, transforming the face of music, dance and fashion. He was amazing. And the world is going to be colder without him. I miss him so much. I still listen to his songs everyday seeking for comfort, I shed tears for the misfortune he has seen as a result of the snakes around him and I cry over the fact that he’s gone and he’s not coming back. But then I smile when I listen to him sing ‘Smile’ because I agree, “Smile, though your heart is aching. Smile even though it’s breaking. You’ll find, that life, if still worth while- if you just smile.” I smile for you, Michael. Because I know that you wouldn’t us to be sad over you- although it’s very hard not to be. You’ve got a friend in me, Michael, you rocked my world and I will remember the time that I fell in love with you and your music. A wise, beautiful, talented man once said “I will never let you part, for you are always in my heart.” And that is what I believe with you, Michael. I love you, I miss you- I am so blessed to have lived the same time as you. Rest in peace, Michael. Much love, xo.
