We never learn do we?
We had the priviledge to witness a very special person in our lifetime. A kind gentle genious who was given a mixture of all our hiddens flaws and fears. He was blessed with a voice and musical genious that no one could match. We watched in amazement as he sang and danced his way into our hearts and everyday lives. But he came to this earth as a man and like all humans he had to deal with human emotions, life circumstances, disappointments and mistakes that we all must make to move on in life. Yet we critisced him for it.. big time. As I watched the news last night , they went over some of his so called strange antics.. like going to a wedding reception with Elizabeth Taylor. What is wierd about that.. just because some newspaper reporter needed a story that would sell.. he decided to tell the world how crazy poor Michale was .. and the world believed it cause it was in print… and it sold newspapers and magazines and brought up television ratings. It makes
me so damn mad that Michael became feed for any need to make another buck in the newsworld. And today we are still exploiting him… going over and over again about his wierd antics. Some were human mistakes… and you all have made them.. some were struggles to be accepted and how many of you have had boob jobs, hair transplants, botox.. seriously are we any better.. yet we can keep it hidden and do not have to see our private lives blasted on the front page.. we are all human beings and do what we can to try and be accepted. Yet we put Michael in a fish tank and critised his every move.. everything was exaggerated to sell another damn paper. He was big business wasn’t he. Sadly he was a person, a gentle soul, who wanted to see the world with childlike innocence… don’t we all wish that we were able to do that.. yet we called him wacko… shame on us as a human race. Very few people have walked through the world like him. He was a gift to us all and once again
we crucified him.. no not on a cross this time.. cause hey we have evolved and turned it into a business… the bottom line counts doesn’t it.
I pray that Michael can see this world from where he is.. I hope he can forgive us.. I hope that he now understands that it had nothing to do with him.. he was the normal one because he kept doing what he was born to do…… bringing joy into our lives with his smile, charisma and artistic genious and yet remain a kind gentle and loving soul despite our cruelty.There have been many great people in this world.. yet I do not believe anyone will be able to leave such a lasting impression. For all of those who disliked him and took pleasure in accusing him, please look inside yourselves and repair that damage of hate within yourself.. fix your own lives, face your own wierdness, mistakes and flaws. Let him be a reminder that life is short.. open your eyes and see the world with kindness, live and an understanding heart. Treat others and you would have them treat you and this world will be a better place.
No one can hurt you anymore Michael.. for now you see this world from the other side.. please forgive us our trepasses……….and smile down upon us
